hi, im using your great html editor, and i come across this strange problem with the w3c validation, for example when i use bolded text the editor generated a text containg "" tags instead od the valid "", and other stuff like that well, just wanted to ask if there is somthing im doing wrong, or if there's any way of changing those invalid tags?
thanks,

Re: W3C Validation
As for the ticket, there's a lot of discussion there about how "fashionable" and are. There's nothing fashionable about them - both can be styled to meet the author's vision of what strong or emphasized really is (e.g. one may want to be not bold at all, but just red in color), while and are all about just being bold and italic. Of course, can be styled too, but making it, say, red and not bold is just silly.
