Hi,
We have an oldish web application that still uses FCK1.4 A user has just installed Vista on a new PC with IE7 and now is unable to use the editor window - it does not load. It works fine on windows up to XP even with IE7.
I have read that MS has disabled the DHTML Editing Control in Vista although it is possible to download and install the "Application version". Will this solve our problem?
If we update to a newer version of FCK will that work in IE7 on Vista?
If we update to a Firefox compatable version of FCK will that work in Firefox on Vista?
... or has MS stuffed us again?
Sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere - I could not find an answer

Re: Vista, IE7 & FCKeditor 1.4
I know the later versions work on IE and Firefox on Windows up to and including XP, but what about Vista?

It's much better that you do yourself the tests and check that everything works as expected instead of relying on the answer of someone else.
