Greetings, just wondering if anyone has experience and possibly a code snippet for using the file browser on a seperate file system?
The reason I ask is the FCKEditor is being implemented in an administration section that is going to live on a separate machine and modify files on the main web server via a networked drive, it seems that the setting 'UserFilesPath' used by the default FCKEditor file browser will only work with a path off the current server (eg '/user_uploads/'), I need to be able to specify a network path (eg 'file:///W:/user_uploads')
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

Re: Using filebrowser on seperate filesystem
in config.php (if you use PHP connector) which points file browser to absolute path.
In PHP5 and PHP 4.4 it is possible to register stream wrappers (see Stream Functions in manual), so theoretically you should be able to use file browser with any protocol you wish.
