In the documentation (http://wiki.fckeditor.net/Developer%27s_Guide/Configuration/Built_in_File_Browser), instructions are provided for using the FCKEditor File Browser on a standalone page. I'd like to do this so my client can more easily manage PDFs and other documents, however when I follow the instructions, I am not able to upload to the file directory nor am I able to upload non-image files (such as PDFs). The drop down menu for Resource Type only lists Images. If I try to upload a PDF, I get an "invalid file" error.
I have temporarily turned ConfigUseFileType off in fckeditor/editor/filemanager/upload/asp/config.asp, however that has not helped.
I'm guessing the instructions for utilizing the Image Broswer, thus causing my problem. Does anyone know of a way to do something similar using the File Uploader? My programming skills are nowhere near good enough to figure this out on my own, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
