I used to be able to use FCKEditor with IE when ActiveX was disabled although of course I lost some functionality. Now with the latest release I cannot use it at all.
Is there a configuration setting I need to make so that it will be useable with clamped down versions of IE?
If not can the ability to use FCK with IE clamped down please be re-enabled else I will have to look elsewhere for my editor.
Cheers
Brian

I do think that unless it is vital, there should be a reduced functionality mode else I (and others) will be stuck with the last version that did work.

And if they insist on keep on using IE and don't want to upgrade to IE 7 then it's another proof that they don't care at all about security.
On the other hand if you are using FCKeditor in a big organization then you might want to support the development of such non-activex code, without many features but having something that more or less works. Maybe it could be a plugin to replace the activex code with other code that tries to do that functionality as long as it's possible.
