Hi,
I am running a web server (LAMP - Slackware 10.2, PHP5.2.5...) and have been using FCKeditor for some time. I have downloaded FCKeditor version 2.6
I run several sites from the server and wish to have only one copy of the FCKeditor directories on the server (for space, order & 'update' conciderations). At the moment I have to have one copy of FCKeditor in each domain / subdomain to be able to use it in that domain/subdomail.
For example, I have 3 sites: site.com ('main site'); sub1.site.com & sub2.site.com.
I organize them by directories:
site.com /www/
sub1.site.com /www/sub1
sub2.site.com /www/sub2
I like to keep all of my 'common' files (classes, modules, icons etc) in subdirectories of a 'library' directory say /www/library/..., with FCKeditor being in /www/library/modules/fckeditor.
with this structure, I can run FCKeditor from site.com but not from sub1.site.com or sub2.site.com.
Can anyone please help
Thanks
