okay, I'm a complete idiot!
In the config.php file I was actually replacing 'UserFilesPath' with the actual path, instead of putting it in the single quotes following it. Everything works fine now!
Just ignore me...I'll be alright.
Hi -
I just installed the latest version of Dada Mail and FCKeditor yesterday. The FCKeditor install went great and works fine except for one issue. I followed the directions from this URL:
http://dadamailproject.com/support/docu ... _fckeditor
The problem I'm having is that when I insert an image, the image is getting uploaded to my server, but it's not going to the directory that I specified in the PHP file. I set it to have the images uploaded to a directory called 'userfiles' in the 'public_html' directory, but it's placing the images in the 'public_html' directory, which is obviously the parent directory.
The way I am getting this result is this. I click on the Insert/Edit Image icon. When the Image Properties window opens up, I click on the 'Upload' tab. I browse for my image and then 'Send it to the Server'. It then appears in the document I am creating and is placed in the directory as I stated earlier. Then, when I send the mail, it doesn't show up in the email.
I also tried the approach that was suggested in the documentation, which is, instead of clicking on the 'Upload' tab in the Image Properties window, to click on the 'Browse Server' button in the 'Image Info' tab. When I do that, the Resources Browser opens up and I 'Upload a new file in this folder' from the bottom of the window. The strange thing that happens then is that it creates a new folder - not in my public_html folder, but in it's parent folder, the user folder. It creates a folder called 'public_htmlimage' and uploads the image to that folder. Very strange.
This is how I have my variables set up in the PHP file:
$Config['http://www.mydomain.com/userfiles/'] = '/userfiles/' ; (By the way, I've tried this configuration both with and without the 'www'.)
$Config['/home/user/public_html/userfiles/'] = '' ;
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I just tried this. I noticed in the config.php that it declared this variable:
$Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'].'image/' ;
I figured maybe this was why it was creating a 'public_htmlimage' directory, so I added a "/" before 'image' and now it creates an 'image' directory in the 'public_html' directory. We're getting somewhere. And now, the image shows up in the email editor, but it still doesn't show up in the sent email.
