Upload Progress Meter

Suggestion for an Upload Progress Meter

I doubt it's a new idea but I didn't see it posted... FCK ROCKS and I think it would rock just a little harder if there was a file upload progress status indicator. I am playing with 80KB test data which mysql and php serve up in under 5 seconds on a read, but and it goes through two stages ... the first stage takes 1:35 (m:ss) and sometimes you don't get an hourglass until you click in the editor area, but while other windows work the editor window freezes during that stage ... then the toobar icons disapper and the editor hangs for another 30 seconds and finally gives control back to my php code... but since most websurfers click away if they don't see a page in 15 or 20 seconds a great tool like FCK needs a progress meter to keep people from forgetting they are uploading their work and lose it by closing the window hahaha... Did you ever have one too many beers and forget the new admin password you set on the server ??? Man if windows security wasn't so lame that could be a real problem ... Ooooppppsss... Sorry... must be the beer or something... well it's friday nite and time to party ... have some fun and if your hangover doesn't kill the brilliant idea you have for me share it with us when you can move your fingers again
