Upgrading 2.0rc2 to 2.1.1

I'm having unfortunate luck attempting to upgrade from FCKeditor 2.0rc2 to FCKeditor 2.1.1

I can get the editor to work, but not the filemanager.

I'm using PHP interface.

I've changed "false" to "true" in the upload and browser $Config['Enabled']

The /UserFiles/ directory exists and works with the older version.

Is there something else I need to do to enable the filemanager.

Also, I've tried both PHP and PHP mcpuk options.

Can't get filemanager to work in v.2.1.1

Well, I tried deleting the commented lines in the fckconfig.js in the LinkBrowser, ImageBrowser sections.

Maybe it is just a coincidence, but the filemanager feature works now and it uses a directory I specified in the connectors PHP config section.

1. Be sure to check your main config file as well as your filemanager/browser config. I renamed mine (to myfckconfig.js), deleted the default config file (fckconfig.js), and call the renamed config in the file to contain the editor. In the new config file I made sure that only my connectors were used (I am using php).

2. Make sure that your browse/default config is in accord with your upload config's reference to the UserFiles.

3. There is also a fix for the browse server. Find "In-dialog file upload fix" on the wiki.

I have found that the within the filemanager, the uploading of files work and goes to the correct folder.
It's the main browser that doesn't appear to point to the correct folder for some reason.

Configs in both places match and are point to the right folder.
