We're building an asp application that's connected to an oracle 8 database.
On one page there's one or more FCKEditor that stores information in the database. It should handle UNICODE. It's set to charset = UTF-8.
If we have the codepage = 65001 on the page we get the following error:
Provider error '80040e21'
Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done.
If we remove the codepage then we can successfully save, but when we try to read and add the text to the FCKEditor we just get "junk text" where there's supposed to be UNICODE.
Western text works fine.
If we try to print the text from the database next to the editor it looks OK, so the problem must be in the editor.
Anyone know why?
