Unable to indent

When I hit the indent button on the editor, the text will appear that it is indent. but as soon as i save the page, all the text is aligned to the left.

I tried again and this time I indented acouple times, looked at the wiki text and no code appeared to indext the text.

What I am I missing?

I only have one other extension on my wiki (confirmaccount) and i am running mediawiki 1.14 and fckeditor 2.6.4
