Toolbar loading on the side instead of top

I've searched the forums and I can't find a solution.

I love the UI of CKEditor but it's installation is a lot less smooth than others so far for me.

Anyway, I'm loading everything correctly (calling the js in the head, doing the replace method right after the text area, altered the width in the config), however this is what I get:

The sidebar is essentially all the way off the screen (hidden by my div) and doesn't even appear on top. I get the gray background, but there is no white to type in.

Any ideas? Thanks.

The css in your page is overriding the styles of the editor. Use a tool like Firebug to find out the rules that are creating the problems.

I would have thought this too, but I have zero css rules directly attributing to this. The nearest applied css rule is for the container.

Ok, I've told you why I think that it happens to you. You dismiss that reason without any proof, so I have no other suggestion. Maybe someone else can figure out why that's happening to you, because I only know of one reason.
