Text uneditable if bold,italic,underline,color applied

This is very odd. Everything with the WYSIWYG is working fine, however if I apply bold, italics, underline AND a color to a bit of text in the wysiwyg, that text is no longer editable. I have to remove the word completely in order to change anything about it.

Anyone else seen this?

Thanks for replying. Embarrassingly, this was being caused by javascript outside of the CKEDITOR library. Thanks for your help, but this is not a bug.
