Style Dropdown in wrong place

I have an instance of the FCKEditor that is in an absolutley positioned div. When I click on the style drop down it appears like 200 pixels below where it should be. Any thoughts on what I need to do to fix this?

Are you using the latest version?
that problem was present in some prior versions but I think that now it's OK.

change x and y position in fckpanel and set tale-layout to fixed
