Strange Formatting of embedded objects

Hi, when I insert an embedded object (.awf) and put it into paragraphs like this:

<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" src="/_userfiles/flash/Yellow_Runners.swf" play="true" loop="true" menu="true"></embed>
</p>

everything looks fine. When I change to Sourcecode I get this formatting:

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" src="/_userfiles/flash/Yellow_Runners.swf" play="true" loop="true" menu="true"></embed>
<p>&nbsp;</p>

with more space above and below the Flash file.

This also happens on the demo page here on fckeditor.net with the actual version 2.6. I think this is an error in the editor or has soemone a workaround?
