RE: Size of the editor
Just replace "MyTextarea" with the name of the textarea in your code:
function set_editor_height(h){
document.getElementById('MyTextarea___Frame').height=h;
}
function set_editor_width(w){
document.getElementById('MyTextarea___Frame').width=w;
}
function set_editor_width_change(wpix){
document.getElementById('MyTextarea___Frame').width = wpix + parseInt(document.getElementById('MyTextarea___Frame').width);
}
function set_editor_height_change(hpix){
document.getElementById('MyTextarea___Frame').height = hpix + parseInt(document.getElementById('MyTextarea___Frame').height);
}
Or do it where you initialize the editor ...
window.onload = function(){
// var oFCKeditor = new FCKeditor('MyTextarea');
oFCKeditor = new FCKeditor('MyTextarea');
// properties
oFCKeditor.Width=$toolbar_width; // in pixel or %, default='100%'
oFCKeditor.Height=$toolbar_height; // in pixel or %, default=200
oFCKeditor.ToolbarSet = '$toolbar_set';
// oFCKeditor.Value='initial value' // here set in textarea
// oFCKeditor.BasePath = '/Components/fckeditor/'; // where FCKeditor searches for components. Default='/fckeditor/', avoid relative paths
// oFCKeditor.CheckBrowser = true; // checks browser compatibility. Default=true
// oFCKeditor.DisplayErrors = false ; // show error messages on errors while rendering the editor. default=true
oFCKeditor.ReplaceTextarea();
}
</script>
RE: Size of the editor
editor.js:
document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src="FCKeditor/fckeditor.js"></script>');
window.onload = function()
{
var oFCKeditor = new FCKeditor( 'editor1' ) ;
oFCKeditor.BasePath = '/FCKeditor/' ;
oFCKeditor.Config['CustomConfigurationsPath'] = '/FCKeditor/myconfig.js' ;
oFCKeditor.Height = parseInt(((document.getElementById('editor1').style.height).split('p'))[0]) ;
oFCKeditor.ReplaceTextarea() ;
}
That way you only have to include one js on each page and still have the editor sized to the size of the textarea you are replacing, works great for me!
