'@' Signs causing Javascript Errors?

Hello,

I have an intranet email system that I'm working on and I need to be able to have users user the @ sign in their emails, but when I input anything with the @ sign, it gives me an error.

Any workaround? Bug? Am I doing something wrong?

I'm using the ColdFusion (module version).
