Let's say i create a folder in Resources Browser called pdf.
I load pdf files in there.
Url for one would be
http://www.abcdef.com.au/userfiles/pdf/ ... cation.pdf
Now if I go to
http://www.abcdef.com.au/userfiles/pdf
I can see all the files in there - so If I have files in there I don't want to use yet - if someone types in the url they can access all the files irrespective whether they are linked on the site.
I am assuming there is a way to fix this..a .htaccess file in folder userfiles??
Thanks
Chris

Re: Securing folder
Yes you're absolutely right, .htaccess is a good way to secure your folder against strangers.
You can use HTTP authentication to create custom permissions and allow only logged people to view files.
