Greetings,
I was wondering what happens behind the scenes when you "save" something. Does it behave like the text editor style "save" we're all used to, where you can save a work, and then bring it up later? If so, how come there's no "open" function/button?
How is the saved work saved? What file kind of Object does it save as? Where does it go?
Much thanks.

Re: Saving in FCKEditor
Hi,
Thanks for the reply but I am still a little confused about how the FCKeditor request works. When you click the "save" button, does that typically fire off a post or get request that you would have a backend servlet to intercept the data? I'm new to all of this and I am trying to figure the pieces to the FCKeditor. Basically i'm trying to figure how to retrieve the content data of the form element to save to in a database. I'm implementing this using JSF.
The big question is, can I tie the content of the editor to a backing bean value?
Thank you in advance
