Hi!
Everything works fine with images and urls except one thing:
Whenever I wanna edit an image- or url-link which was already saved FCKeditor 1.5 adds single quotes to the src or href attribute.
My Workflow:
1. Empty editor-field, browsing images, choose image: Everything is OK, the image is displayed
2. Save the content to the database, re-open the record: The image is broken
3. Switching to HTML-mode: the src attribute has single quotes now.
Example: ... IMG height=98 src='"http:// ...
If I open the same record with a non-IE browser I get
... IMG height=98 src="http://...
What to do? How to resolve this?
TIA, amalesh

RE: Saved Image and Page Links get Single Quotes
What Scripting language are you using? And how does your SQL statement look like?

RE: Saved Image and Page Links get Single Quo
Thank you for your reply.
I'm using PHP/MySQL and IE6 on Win2K. PHPs magic-quote-stuff is disabled.
The insert statement and the db result is just fine, I even checked it with the mysql-console. And otherwise I shouldn't get this in a non-IE-Browser:
... IMG height=98 src="http://...
Same result if I disable FCKeditor or if I add a standard textarea for the same content.
With FCKeditor I get additional single quotes in front of every double quote, without FCKEditor I get it as it is in the database:
... IMG height=98 src="http:// ....
Looks like FCKeditor adds the single quotes. But how and where?
