I have replaced SoEditor with fckeditor in Coldfusion and I'm blown away by how great this tool is!
Everything if working perfectly but I have one question about setting the "image" folder. Nearly all my images are stored in the "imagesS" folder (note plural) off the root. I'd like to enable fckeditor to use this rather than have to duplcate the images in a "image" (singular) folder in the root as it requires.
Is there a place to modify fckeditor to use the imaages folde rather than the images folder when I point it to the root?
Can this be done?
I realize this could create problems with fckeditor updates in the future but I have dynamic as well as static content pointing to the images folder and this would be much easier.
Thanks!

RE: Repost about default folder image locatio
But I'm a refugee from soEditor too ... did they ever end up releasing version 3? I've never heard so many broken promises in my life!
RE: Repost about default folder image locatio
No, they never did. The final straw was when I emailed for tech suport after seeing he disabled the forums.

He responded and mentioned something about waiting for the next version and new products, and when I replied asking for further clarification I also said I was skeptical about waiting for the next version because of how long it had been and the fact that the forums were down. Never heard back.
My quess is that they're history, especially in light of how much better fckeditor is for starters. Except for, well, *ahem*, the issue that I started this thread with.
There's another thread essentially asking the same question, but no answer for Coldfusion yet: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.p ... id=3614668
RE: Repost about default folder image locatio
If you search this forum or the wiki you might find better steps, and of course you can add the instructions to the wiki if they aren't there.
