Hi. I've gone into fckconfig.js and removed the ['About'] plus the same for the links and bullets items for the Basic toolbar.
However, even after I clear both the system cache (I'm using DNN) and Browser cache, the Basic toolbar still shows with these buttons enabled.
The documentation states that this is all I need to do. Is there something else I need to do?

Re: Removing Link, About, and Bullets from Basic FCK toolbar
I have solved this. My problem was there were two fckconfig.js files in two different folders in my directory and I was editing the wrong one instead of the custom one.
If anyone is having a similar issue, check your directory and make sure you are editing the right fckconfig.js file! I knew it was something simple!
NB. There is a great post here: http://www.smart-thinker.com/DNNBlog/ta ... fault.aspx where Rodney explains FCK customisation for the DNN CMS.
