Readonly for the editor is it possible ?

First excuse me for my bad english.
I want to know if it's possible to make the editor with a readonly statut, not the toolbar.
I don't find a property like enabled and visible don't work. So i can't put it in invible mode and put an other control visible in my same page.
I use it with the multipage control of Microsoft.
