Question regarding uploading images

I've managed to get file uploading working ok with FCKeditor, but I'm having an issue with the folders.

It'd be easier for me to explain by setting the scene...

I'm writing a blog entry and I want to upload an image. So I click the "Insert/Edit Image" button, click the "Upload" tab, select an image, then send it to the server. Simple! Works just fine! The image is uploaded into /userfiles/ and all is well.

Now I want to use the same image that I uploaded on another blog entry, rather than upload it again. So I click the "Insert/Edit Image" button, and under the "Image Info" tab I click on the "Browse Server" button in the hopes that I can select the image I uploaded before... but it's not there! Why? Because it's looking in /userfiles/image/

How can I make it either look in /userfiles/ directly, or for it to put images directly into the /userfiles/image/ folder?

NOTE: by default, QuickUploadPath and QuickUploadAbsolutePath point to
"userfiles" directory to maintain backwards compatibility with older versions of FCKeditor.
This is fine, but you in some cases you will be not able to browse uploaded files using file browser.
Example: if you click on "image button", select "Upload" tab and send image
to the server, image will appear in FCKeditor correctly, but because it is placed
directly in /userfiles/ directory, you'll be not able to see it in built-in file browser.
The more expected behaviour would be to send images directly to "image" subfolder.
To achieve that, simply change
$Config['QuickUploadPath']['Image'] = $Config['UserFilesPath'] ;
$Config['QuickUploadAbsolutePath']['Image'] = $Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'] ;
into:
$Config['QuickUploadPath']['Image'] = $Config['FileTypesPath']['Image'] ;
$Config['QuickUploadAbsolutePath']['Image'] = $Config['FileTypesAbsolutePath']['Image'] ;
