Pull Record into FCK from SQL

I am trying to pull a record from sql based on a recordid and I have no idea how to do it in fck. I got FCK to post records to my database but would like to be able to edit a record from the database if I need to... Can anyone give me any suggestions or some sample code on how this might be done.

This has nothing to do with FCK; simply attempt to solve this problem as if you were populating a textarea; it is really quite easy.

You'll find that the FCKEditor can either replace textareas, or will have methods to set it's initial value.
