I'm trying to copy and paste an image that's already on the server and being displayed on the website into a fckeditor box. In Firefox and Safari it pops open a window with a message about security settings and that you can't paste directly from the clipboard. It says to paste into the popup window using Ctrl+V but that doesn't do anything. If I click OK and then view the source, it has some local file path source with a file name like "moz-screenshot-8.jpg" and the image doesn't display. If I try to drag and drop the image, that works fine.
I've read that you can adjust the security settings in Firefox (though not easily for a casual user). Can anyone help me figure out why it isn't pasting the image in the pop-up window using CTRL+V?
Thanks.

I find it interesting that over 40 people have read my post but nobody has bothered to respond to it. Am I the only one having this problem? I certainly thought this was a more active group and am disappointed that nobody has anything to offer to help resolve this.
