Problem with FCK+Mediawiki - can't save articles

Following a successful install of FCK+Mediawiki, I'm unable to save new articles. The editor works without issue, but upon submitting the page, the site hangs and the changes to the effectted article do not commit.
Running MediaWiki 1.12.0 with MySQL5. I'd appreciate any guidance that can be provided for this issue.

Does any javascript error occur when you try to save the article?
Could you post a link to your wiki?

IE gives the error: Cannot find server or DNS Error , and firefox gives no error at all.

This doesn't look to me like FCKeditor extension issue... it's probably something with your web server configuration / internet connection.
