Preventing depreciated tags like FONT

Is there a way to turn off fonts in FCK 2.1.1?
I am controlling the look and feel with a style sheet. When I create a simple paragraph it is wrapped in font tags.

You can turn off the FONT toolbar icon. Just edit fckconfig.js and locate the FCKConfig.ToolbarSets["Standard"] line and remove the 'FontName' and 'FontSize' bits.

Make sure you clear your cache before reloading.

I have not seen font tags being created with explicitly doing so with the font toolbar options.
