Hi,
first, I'll like to congratulate everyone involved in the fckeditor for the great job.
Here is the problem I'm having and it is related to the browser/uploader using Java.
I'm building a webapp that is deployed like this :
/opt/tomcat5/webapps/PortalHUM/
/webSiteCreation/
/FCKeditor (here is the editor)
When trying to upload/browse I get the following error :
XML Request Error :
/PortalHUM/webSiteCreation/FCKeditor/editor/filemanager/browser/default/connectors/jsp/connector
(404)
After going thru the code and the tomcat logs, it obviously refers to a bad configuration in the url-mapping
in the web.xml:
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>Connector</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/editor/filemanager/browser/default/connectors/jsp/connector</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>Connector</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>*.cfck</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>Connector</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/PortalHUM/webSiteCreation/FCKeditor/editor/filemanager/browser/default/connectors/jsp/connector</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
As you can see above, I tried different mappings, including the usual mapping but none worked out. Eventually I tried my own mapping (*.cfck) and used the firefox Javascript debugger to change the value of the connector url on execution to try it. This time, I recieved the following error :
XML Request Error : Internal Server Error (500)
That is as far as I've been able to solve this issue on my own. I really need help since I have a deadline for
this (it is for college). Thanks
