Thanks, but I found this in the documentation:
The file dhtmled.cab has been removed from the package. It's not needed to the editor to work and caused some confusion for a few users.

any other idea ?

The file dhtmledit.cab has been removed from the package just because it is not needed. The Microsoft DHTML Edit ActiveX component is already available in all systems with IE5+. This ActiveX is the underlying component of FCKeditor. So the browser must be able to run ActiveX components. Please check your security settings.

Check to make sure you are allowing ActiveX Controls, FCKEditor is using Microsoft's dhtmled.cab ActiveX control.

Editor doesn't load

I found this thread by searching for Q824145. When I install this patch from Microsoft, I can no longer load the editor. When I remove the patch. All is well. Anyone else have this problem or a solution?

IE 5.5 SP2 Q824145 Q837009 Win2K
