The file dhtmledit.cab has been removed from the package just because it is not needed. The Microsoft DHTML Edit ActiveX component is already available in all systems with IE5+. This ActiveX is the underlying component of FCKeditor. So the browser must be able to run ActiveX components. Please check your security settings.
I found this thread by searching for Q824145. When I install this patch from Microsoft, I can no longer load the editor. When I remove the patch. All is well. Anyone else have this problem or a solution?
