Hi:
Pasting from excel don't respect the table formats, colours, etc..
There is anyway to paste from excel and keeping formats, colors, row widths, etc... ?
Thank you in advanced and best regards.

Re: Pasting from excel - don't respect the format
Is this problem being addressed?
Re: Pasting from excel - don't respect the format
Have you tried setting the pasteFromWordRemoveFontStyles configuration value to "false"?

Re: Pasting from excel - don't respect the format
It works a lot better now, using the following configuration options:
Take the attached Excel file as example.
If you copy the contained table and paste it directly to CKEditor the cell background color format will be lost. But if you copy the same table from Excel, paste it into Word, copy it again in Word and finally paste it into CKEditor the result is much better.
Is it possible to catch at least the cell background color when pasting directly from Excel?
Thanks in advance

I was aware that it is a known issue. But do we have any roadmap to fix it?
Thanks in advance,

Still loosing format.
Hi.
I know its a bit old thread but i am stil having the same issue. I even tried the above attached table. I copied and paste ino CKEditor using the "Paste From Word" option. In that window it shows me fine with all backgrounds and formatting. But when i hit OK , it removes the background colors.
Any help would be greatly apprecited.
Thanks
