Hello,
Details:
- FCK Version: 2.1.1
- Firefox: 1.0.6
- IE: 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2 (and so on).
- Word: 2003 sp1
The issue is that, when creating bullet points (and possibly other "elements") copying brings some special comments across.
They are of the form:
---------
<!--[if !supportLists]--> _HTML_ <!--[endif]-->
---------
Now, FF will happily hide these; but IE shows them.
In IE, when pasting into the FCK Field these comments appear as text (not comments) in the editor.
In FF they are comments; not displayed in the editing panel.
Interesting features are that when I save the item; and edit it again (in FF) FCK removes the comments and everything is good. This is obviously not an option for real users ...
Anyone experienced this before? Appreciate any help.

RE: Paste from word brinigs comments (IE Issu
Any reasons way to make the FCKEditor completely remove the comments during the word paste operation? This seems like an obvious feature for the "Paste Word" button; but it is not there.
RE: Paste from word brinigs comments (IE Issue)
How does paste from word work for everyone else?
