I am using WP3.3.1, CKEditor Version 3.3.1. I create a post - I'm converting from another site, so I've copied, then used the W clipboard tool to strip out the formatting. Seems to do great. Using FF 10.0.2.
Put in my page divider at the top so only headline shows in the category, publish - ARRG - the source code is now the post.
Copy the code that is now the post, click on "source" tool and paste. Switch back to WYSIWYG view - looks good again. Update - BACK TO CODE showing.
Any suggestions?
Thank you for your time.

Re: Paste w/Word clipboard tool option, save and then code s
Are you using our CKEditor for WordPress plugin, available here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/cke ... wordpress/ ? If not, do try it out, because your current setup uses a pretty outdated version of the editor, so it does not make much sense to try and troubleshoot it.
Besides, it would be great if you could explain your problem in a bit more detail as it is hard for us to understand what it really is about. Thanks!

Re: Paste w/Word clipboard tool option, save and then code s
1. create new post.
2. copy existing article to clipboard from existing HTML site.
3. click on the tool to paste from Word - to keep some formatting, and check both option boxes to get rid of the styles.
4. paste.
5. OK.
6. save draft.
7. HTML/WYSIWYG view turns into CODE as if I pasted into the source tab. Did not.
8. Try again in the editor with all the pretty tools.
9. same thing.
10. Successful when using the paste as plain text tool or regular paste. Regular paste leaves too much of the original formatting, plain text removes all links.
Do you need more details?

Re: Paste w/Word clipboard tool option, save and then code s
I'll go get it again and reinstall. It works fine on a couple of my other WP sites, just not this one - the most recent.
Re: Paste w/Word clipboard tool option, save and then code s
Thank you for your patience.
Re: Paste w/Word clipboard tool option, save and then code s
Alrighty, I downloaded most recent. Installed on 7 sites. Followed instructions about the CKFinder:
CKFinder status: Not installed
Installation instruction:
1. Download CKFinder for PHP: http://ckfinder.com/download
2. Unpack contents of the "ckfinder" folder to "wp-content/plugins/ckeditor-for-wordpress/ckfinder/" directory
3. Rename ckfinder_config.php to config.php (overwrite default config.php distributed with CKFinder.)
So in the ckfinder folder is a config.php - not ckfinder_config.php - was that correct? If so, I'm still showing that it's not installed.
Thank you for the assistance.
Re: Paste w/Word clipboard tool option, save and then code s
Make sure that CKFinder's files are in 'wp-content/plugins/ckeditor-for-wordpress/ckfinder/' directory not in some subdirectory in this path.
You should change/rename ckfinder_config.php file to config.php , so config.php shipped with CKFinder should be overwritten with ckeditor_config.php file.
After all steps from readme , please save ckeditor-for-wordpress configuration.
Re: Paste w/Word clipboard tool option, save and then code s
This is a NEW install. I downloaded AGAIN and download ckfinder again - FRESH.
This is not about the code showing, this is about the inability to change the name of a file, per the alert note, that doesn't exist in the folder specified.
I'm downloading it again from here:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/cke ... wordpress/
The ckfinder directory has the ckfinder_config.php, but when I download just the CKFinder from your support site, I did not find that same file - only config.php
With this, I only changed the one name of the file and didn't upload the separate ckfinder. The red alert went away. All that remains is this note at the top of the WP admin page ckeditor_settings:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/vivaxmed/public_html/news/wp-includes/general-template.php:2101) in /home/vivaxmed/public_html/news/wp-includes/functions.php on line 861

and in the body by the server information:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/vivaxmed/public_html/news/wp-content/plugins/ckeditor-for-wordpress/includes/overview.php on line 123
I have not tinkered with general-template.php, functions.php nor includes/overview.php This is a brand new site.
These messages only show up when I'm in ckeditor_settings
The old issue of code showing up no longer happens, the editor works perfectly in this new site.
Just those pesky debugging types of messages at the top of the window and at side of the settings screen.
Re: Paste w/Word clipboard tool option, save and then code s
Hi @suzbinky ,
can you check latest DEVversion if there are mentioned warnings.
You can download DEV version from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/ckeditor-for-wordpress.zip.
What theme do you use ?

Thank you for the updated version. I'll have to run through all sites and update them all.
