Paragraph Tags

How??? I use a blogging service with fck, but when I post it only inserts <br> tags. How to make it insert paragraph tags??

A search revealed nothing I could use. Can someone please help me so we can change it so it will insert the <p> tags??

And I see now how to change with 'formatting', but I'd like to have the formatting set by default to just insert paragraphs and nothing else. How?
