Hi,
hopefully someone can help me here.
I have installed the Version 2.3 of the FCKeditor and everything works fine.
Usually the editor makes XTHML code, but for some older websites i need HTML code.
I just read the notice of the Version 2.2:
Attention: The "<strong>GetHTML</strong>"
function has been deprecated. It now returns the same value as "<strong>GetXHTML</strong>".
The same is valid for the "EnableXHTML" and "EnableSourceXHTML"
that have no effects now. The editor now works with XHTML output only.
After I read that notice, i wanted to install a previous version of the editor. But in the config.js ist always the following entry:
FCKConfig.EnableXHTML = true ; // Unsupported: Do not change.
FCKConfig.EnableSourceXHTML = true ; // Unsupported: Do not change.
Is there any possibility in the FCKeditor to get HTML code?
Please don't ask me to change my websites to XHTML, because therefore is absolutely no reason.

RE: Output HTML and not XHTML
Trying to be smart and converting everything to "valid" XHTML has caused me and my users way more problems than it has prevented. If anyone knows how to turn off this feature, I would be most grateful!
RE: Output HTML and not XHTML
I've tested and it does work fine for me, indeed there are far more problems to really validate as XHTML, but as I don't plan to move my pages to XHTML anytime soon (indeed I don't think that I'll never care about it as it seems that it's a dead road) I don't care too much about XHTML but I do about proper HTML.
