OnChangeEvent

I checked the documentation but found no hint to detect a change in the textarea. Can anybody please explain how to recognize an onChangeEvent or something similair and want to reduce a character counter. Some code would be helpful.

I also would like to know. But it seems that it was developed a good and complex thing without documentation, (in order to get donations, I suppose), this is not actually the philosophy of GNU. I'm gonna think to buy some similar tool where I pay (in the same way) but with documentation and support.
