Odd spacing in table cells in Editor Area Only? (IE ONLY)

This appears to be limited to IE, as my pages currently display correctly in FF.

I have a series of table cells which have gaps in between them - I've removed the borders from the editor area by modifying fckeditor.html - however this padding or gap still remains. Has anyone else expereienced this issue?

Define "space"... The editor adds padding and borders to tables to show the table cell boundaries, if you ask it to (and I think it's on by default). If your tables are expanding by a couple of pixels per cell, that's probably the "culprit". If it's more than a few pixels, I don't know off-hand.
