So I've added the ckeditor plugin and activated it. All that seems to have happened is that
when I go to edit a page now my original wordpress edit toolbar is gone and there is NOT
a CKEdit tool bar. Hosting is GoDaddy/Windows. I'm a bit new to WordPress but would appreciate
any help. Thx.

Re: No Editor toolbar
Do you see any errors in Firebug or similar tool ?
Do you have this issue in all browsers or only specific one ?
Can you check server error logs if there are any errors.
Please try http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/ckeditor-for-wordpress.zip dev version, it has few bug fixes.
Which template (theme) do you use and which wordpress version ?
Re: No Editor toolbar
Thanks for looking at my question. I've tried to answer the questions you asked below.
Do you see any errors in Firebug or similar tool ? When I attempt to edit a page I don't see any errors with firebug running. That said I'm not an expert in using Firebug. When I look at the console and list errors there are none.
Now that I took a second look the error I see via FireBug is produced when I click on the ckeditor tab on the left hand side. The error displayed is...
"NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://mydomain/wp-admi/css/dashboard.css?version=3.3.2"
Do you have this issue in all browsers or only specific one ? It seems to be an issue with all browsers. I tried with Firefox, IE and Chrome. Behavior is the same in that when editing a page there is no toolbar at the top of the page.
Can you check server error logs if there are any errors. Don't have access. Godaddy hosted.
Please try http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/c ... dpress.zip dev version, it has few bug fixes. Deleted old plug-in and installed this one. The behavior was the same.
Which template (theme) do you use and which wordpress version ? 2011
WP ver 3.3.2
The only other item that might be of interest is that I originally installed WP into the /wordpress dir. After getting a little smarter I moved it to the root. Everything seems to be working find after the move. I only tried to activate CKEditor after the move.
Thanks again. Like I said I'm working to understand this environment. From what I've seen I really have to get your editor working to make this a viable option for me.
