Hi all
Someone very kindly built the most part of a website for me some time ago to accompany a forum I have, and it includes the use of CKeditor for people to submit technical articles for the website.
On the page where these articles are linked to there is a single line of article content (as a preview), followed by a "Read More" hyperlink that opens the corresponding article when clicked.
The issue I have is that for some of the test articles I am submitting to the site, the hyperlink fails, and I think it's because of something to do with ckeditor removing the end tags from formatted content in the stuff that makes up the article.
On some articles the link works fine, on other ones it just shows as text rather than a link.
A friend more familiar with javascript suggested that this might be caused by a forbidden character being used in the content I'm using in the test articles, and we thought it might be the use of apostrophes but I can't seem to replicate that as a consistent cause.
Hope what I've described makes some sense, and sorry for the noob factor of this question but I'd be really grateful of advice for this fault as I can't move my site into a proper live directory until I iron this out and get content onto it.
Many thanks!
