I am not sure how to integrate CKEditor into Joomla! 1.5.20.
I understand there's no installer package, and that you just copy the source folder into ~/web_root/ and call it whatever you want (default is "ckeditor") but then I get lost.
How do I get CKEditor to be the default editor to replace TinyMCE or JCEditor?
Some guidance would be highly appreciated as this editor is the best I have found so far. Only problem is activating it!

Re: Need guidance on installing CKEditor in Joomla
You'd have to find out in Joomla how to properly link to it. You might check this out: http://www.joomlackeditor.com/ Although I really have no idea what that is. Sorry I can't be of more help, but my advice would be to look at the examples included with CKEditor and figure out how to make that in Joomla where you need it. Better yet, maybe start with the link provided and then try to slip in the new CKEditor code.

You can download our ckeditor extension to joomla from http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/edition/editors/12821/. It works for joomla 1.5 and 1.6
