Hey Guys,
So, I've googled and seached this board without resolve. I'm using the SVN copy of mediawiki 1.13, FCK extension, and FCK editor. They are all current as of 7/15/08. I got FCK installed with MediaWiki and everything is working great. My problem is that the image search and preview are not working when you type in the name of an image which has already been uploaded to the wiki site. I can type the name in the image box and it won't show the preview but it will insert the image into the wiki page if the name is typed correctly. Is there any reason for the search to fail? Is this a bug. Hopefully somebody has some sage advice.
Also, after the image has been inserted if you right click and edit it the preview pops up. I guess the search is failing for some reason?

Re: Mediawiki + FCK Image Search / Preview Bug???
I got the same error.
No image browsing but the image preview shows the image if the correct name is typed in...
Same system setup:
- Mediawiki 1.13.0 final release
- FCKeditor from SVN
installed on localhost with XAMPP
Edit:
found one little "solution": I uploaded some gif images. I remembered that GIF was one of the denied image filetypes --> with jpg files was it working
But it's really unconfortable to browse through the images just to know the first characters... would be more convienient if you can search with placeholders or parts in the filename... (ex: *sun* or *shine* for NiceSunShine.jpg)
