I have got the file uploader working so that authorised users can add images and files to the server for inclusion in webpages, works a treat!
However unless they can also remove these files and images when they are no longer required the storage space will continually get bigger, bloated with unnecessary content.
Anybody have any suggestions for a way to allow authorised users to delete outdated files and images again please
Any help greatly appreciated thanks,
Graham

Re: Managing files added to site by FCK File Uploader
a file deletion is not supported by the file browser this time.
If you need this functionality, you have to implement it your own or switch to CKFinder.
Which server-side language do you use?
Re: Managing files added to site by FCK File Uploader
Hi Mosipov,
Sorry I should of said that I am using a Linux server running PHP version 5.2.5 and MySQL version 5.0.51a-community with FCKeditor 2.6
I will look into adding CKFinder, the description sounds like it will do what I am looking for.
Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate the help

Re: Managing files added to site by FCK File Uploader
Thanks Lester, but sorry I have to disagree with you. I installed it and after reading through the config information I had it up and running. A minor problem related to my server but otherwise fairly straightforward. And the result is very pleasing.
Cheers,
Graham

Sorry LesterWong, but your comments are too vague. Can you be a bit more objective? What's the buggy thing there?
