I am attempting to find out how to do 2 things..
1. Find out if a button on the button bar is enabled/disabled
2. Call a button from my own javascript...I'm working on adding a file menu above the button bar.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Frank Walsh

RE: Javascript Button Calls
RE: Javascript Button Calls
These might help:
1.
HOWTO - trigger toolbar button externally: http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=3877940
2.
'Commands' on the page 'Names and Concepts' in the wiki docs: http://wiki.fckeditor.net/Developer%27s ... d_Concepts
and you will also have to check the 'HOWTO - trigger toolbar button externally' again to see how to use the GetState() command (that would be FCKeditorAPI.GetInstance('FCKeditor1').Commands.GetCommand('commandName').Execute();)
Maybe also usefull:
HOWTO - disable toolbar buttons: http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=3978897
HOWTO - hide/show a toolbar button: http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=4310905
