Hello,
I have some problems integrating FCKeditor with java.
Here's my configuration :
I have an EAR server containing 3 WAR's (a, b and c) that need to use FCKeditor and I added the fckeditor WAR in the server as well. But when a JSP from the b WAR calls the editor (FCK), the editor is not found. I think it tries to find the editor's resources in the b WAR, but the resources are actually in the fckeditor WAR and not in the b WAR.
If I put all the fckeditor resources (jsp, js, html, css ...) in the b WAR it works, but this is not interesting because I'd like to use FCK in the a, b and c WAR.
Does anybody has an idea of how to use fckeditor from other WAR's?
Thank you very much.

Re: Integrating FCKeditor with java
Thank you for your answer. It's a shame that the JSP has to be in the same webapp that FCK.
But I found I workaround:
We you use the taglib, the generated code is an iframe that calls the fckeditor.html page in the fckeditor WAR. You can take this code and put it in the JSP of the b WAR (for example), and then modify the src location of the iframe to /fckeditor/fckeditor/editor/fckeditor.html?InstanceName=EditorDefault&Toolbar=Default. This works, you can use the fckeditor from other WAR's.
Have a nice day.

Alexis,
this is not a shame, a webapp should be selfcontained. Cross-referencing could end up in reference hell.
