Installing and running FCKEditor

Hi there

I have just downloaded and am in the process of installing and trying to run the FCKEditor.

I want to run it and incorporate it into a CF based web site.

I cant dind anything as such which tells me how to get it installed and running.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Just unpack the set of files/folders to your server and add the code to your web page.
If you look at the samples provided you'l see its just a matter of setting per the fckeditor.cfm page.
So long as your clients/users are running IE, you're fine. Oh, look out for the 'office' bug...

ok I unpacked all the files to my web server. Tried loading th fckeditor.cfm file but when I did I kept getting an error

Invalid token '*' found on line 20 at column 2.
The CFML compiler was processing:

a cfmodule tag beginning on line 19, column 10.

have no idea why>

in file fckeditor.cfc there are a little error.
Initial comment are between 
that isn't a CF comment.

You have to put  comment and works good!

OK after months of being busy with other work have finally come back to HAVING to get a demo application running by tomorrow.

I have the application setup on the server and have also installed fckeditor to the root of the site.

I was able to run the sample - but am struggling with how to get the other pages working now.

Hopefully someone can give a little bit of guidance. I have everything in a zip file that I could show anyone.
