Hello everyone,
First off, I'd like to congratulate the developers of FCKeditor for creating a truly wonderful tool for webmasters everywhere. We've been using it since our site relaunch in 2006 and it's been a tremendous step up from what we used to have
That said, we hit a little... snag after installing version 2.6, regarding the indentation of our content.
Basically, up until now we used to "indent" our news and articles by using in the Source. However, in the new version this is no longer possible... or should I say, no longer easy to accomplish, as in the past we used to double-tap the TAB key in Firefox and the line was "indented" automatically (this little gimmick didn't work in Internet Explorer). This isn't the case in 2.6 anymore.
Our particular problem is that we only need to indent the first line of a paragraph, not the entire block of text.
So this
is how the text should look - I used in the source.
And this:
is how FCK automatically does the indentation.
Is there any way to achieve the results of manually inserting in the Source (aka first line indent) by correctly configuring the editor and/or the CSS we use on our site
Any pointers or suggestions will be greatly appreciated
