I suspect this has been asked many times so I apologise now. However, I still do not have a solution.
I am using FCKEditor to enable my customer to edit his own news pages using PHP and a MySQL database. This is working great up to a point. We can edit text till our hearts' content and I can browse the server for images and insert them into the editor (and they appear in the final news articles when they are viewed as part of an HTML page) but the images themselves do not appear within the editor itself.
For my LocalHost development site
..includes\fckeditor\editor\filemanager\connectors\php has the following two lines edited:
"// Path to user files relative to the document root.
$Config['UserFilesPath'] = './userfiles/';"
"$Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'] = 'C:/wamp/www/MySite/Site/userfiles' ;"
and fckconfig.js as the following:
"FCKConfig.BaseHref = 'http://localhost/MySite/Site' ;"
What am I doing wrong here, or what have I missed to get the images to show in the Wysiwyg editor? I'm tearing my hair out (and I don't have much to start with)
