Images in CKEditor without CKFinder - posible?

I'm very glad using CKEditor. I really want to use the image function in it - but without CKFinder (I would like to keep my project free and open source).

Anyone who have successfully written anything that can used as the filebrowserBrowseUrl- and filebrowserUploadUrl-part?

Or any ideas to get started?

I REALLY hope any would help me - I need this functionally as soon as possible!!

By the way I'm using PHP/MySQL
