We are integrating FCKEditor with Oracle Portal (UNIX and APACHE) using the PERL configuration. We have followed the required steps for configuring using PERL (Documentation on FCKEditor site) and the editor loads fine in the web page.
The problem occurs when we try and browse to an image for upload. The browser page doesn't list any folders created in the UserFiles location, we can't create a new folder and when we try and upload an image, it just sits saying '(Upload in progress, please wait...) and the image isn't uploaded.
If I browse to the connectors test page (FCKeditor/editor/filemanager/browser/default/connectors/test.html) on the server and select 'GetFolders' for the PERL connector, the contents of the connector.cgi file is written to screen.
In fckconfig.js i have set:
- Set _FileBrowserLanguage = 'perl'
- Only enabled Image Browser
In Connectors.cgi:
- Commented out the secutiy line to enable connector
- set the location of $UserFilesPath to directory on server.
I have successfully set this up on a windows environment using PERL and can upload images successfully.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
