INPUT tag in the toolbar

Hi,

I have created a custom toolbarItem, which contains an INPUT tag (<INPUT type="TEXT" ...>).

My problem is, that I can't select or change the text in the INPUT field.

Any ideas on how to enable the selection of the text in the input field?

In an editing environment, form elements are in design mode and are not active. To change the field value, you will have to use a dialog window, just like the default Text Field dialog.

But I dont think I got it explained right:

I have made a new class, which creates a new toolbar item containing 2 input fields - one for width and one for height.

They are enabled, when editing objects, like images and tables - but I cant select or change the text of the input boxes. Where do I remove the "no select" code?

What I meant is that, while in editing mode, input fields are always selectable as a whole (like an image), and it is not possible to edit their text. This is something enforced by the browser itself, as it would make it difficult to manage the fields otherwise.
